Opening Day - MLB is Here!
Goooood Morning!
Opening day for the MLB is here! This always means that spring is hear and summer isn’t far off.
I realize the MLB may not be everyones favorite sport, but I do quite enjoy betting on it and that has made me enjoy the sport a lot more.
Last year, MLB was BY FAR our sharpest sport. We have a trained A.I. Model that is ready to go this baseball season.
BASEBALL SPECIAL
You can give our service a try for $15 for the first month! This is the lowest we will offer before we raise the price permanently for baseball season. You can lock in this price forever upon signing up!
Now… We won’t actually be betting baseball today. Why? Well, our models require data, statistics, and analytics. It will take a handful of games to start getting that info. However, it won’t be long though.
For today, we will still be running our model on NBA games. The season is winding down with only a small amount of games left.
Game Breakdown: Los Angeles Lakers vs. Chicago Bulls

Over/Under: 239.5
Overview:
Los Angeles Lakers:
Record: 44-28 (4th in the Western Conference)
Recent Performance: The Lakers have been 16-19 on the road and 18-19 in games decided by at least 10 points. They have been a bit inconsistent in terms of their road performances.
Key Strengths:
Shooting: The Lakers have been shooting 47.8% from the field, which is 0.9% higher than the Bulls' opponents have shot.
Scoring: With LeBron James and Anthony Davis, they have a potent offensive combo. Austin Reaves has been stepping up with 22.9 points per game in his last 10 games.
Defense: Los Angeles has defensive capabilities to exploit Chicago’s vulnerabilities, particularly in fast-break situations, where they can be dominant.
Chicago Bulls:
Record: 32-40 (9th in the Eastern Conference)
Recent Performance: Chicago is coming off a 3-game win streak, but they are 13-22 at home, and their defensive struggles have been evident, allowing 119.7 points per game.
Key Strengths:
Offensive Production: Chicago has been high-scoring in recent games, averaging 122.5 points per game in their last 10 games. Coby White has been a standout with 30.6 points over the past 10 games.
Field Shooting: The Bulls shoot 46.7% from the field, which is slightly better than what the Lakers allow. Their ability to make shots will be key in this matchup.
Rebounding: Chicago is a strong rebounding team, though the Lakers have the edge in terms of offensive boards.
Key Matchups:
LeBron James & Anthony Davis vs. DeMar DeRozan & Zach LaVine:
LeBron and AD are the primary driving forces for the Lakers’ success. They’ll face a solid Bulls duo in DeRozan and LaVine. The Lakers' ability to slow down the Bulls' offense with their superior defense will be pivotal in this matchup.
Coby White vs. Austin Reaves:
White has been red-hot recently, but the Lakers have Reaves who has been producing efficiently. Whichever of these two players gets going will be important in terms of providing offensive support for their teams.
Nikola Vucevic vs. Lakers’ Frontcourt:
Vucevic is an essential part of Chicago’s offense, averaging double digits in points and rebounds. The Lakers need to control him on the boards and limit his effectiveness in the paint.
Betting Analysis:
Lakers -2.5:
Why: Despite their recent road struggles, the Lakers have the superior talent in this matchup. They have LeBron and AD, who are capable of dominating both ends of the floor, especially when facing a Bulls team that has struggled defensively.
Key Factor: Coby White’s hot streak could keep the game close, but the Lakers should still edge out Chicago given their overall depth and star power.
Why It Could Be Close: The Bulls' offensive firepower, led by White, DeRozan, and LaVine, makes them dangerous. If they continue their high-scoring ways and make shots efficiently, they could make this a tight game.
Final Prediction:
Lakers -2.5. The Lakers should be able to take control in this matchup with their stars leading the charge. However, the game could be competitive if the Bulls continue their recent offensive efficiency.
