College Football Musings

Good Morning,

There are no bets in today’s email… but don’t leave! I need your help.

I’ve gone through all 52 FBS college football games this week. I started this process on Sunday and finished up this morning.

There are about a dozen places where I see value. Usually when I go back and revisit each of those I’ll trim a few more and end up with a handful of solid bets for college football.

I’ve already sent 2 of those bets out to Premium Subscribers.

Honest question for the readers! Check out the poll below:

I can start sharing more of those bets with you but it will likely come with less of a “breakdown” on why we are betting on a particular team. Time is limited, unfortunately.

I can continue to share bets the way I do with detailed breakdowns and reasoning behind each bet so that you know why we are backing a particular team. I find this particularly helpful if you are wagering larger bets.

I’ll leave it up to you to give me some direction!

We’ve got the important part out of the way… now I am going to ramble on further a bit.

Let me get this out of the way first: We will get back to having bets daily soon. The reality is that playoff baseball is incredibly difficult to predict. I’m not willing to give up all the units I added through the season trying to figure out the playoffs.

Sometimes it’s just more wise to move on. We will have NBA daily soon and continue to have football Thursday-Monday. We are in a brief dry spell on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but bets on those days will soon return. Also, I feel really confident about college football and pretty confident about our NFL bets as well.

Let’s focus on what works and remove what we are unsure about.

Onto more college football commentary.

I’ve got precisely 15 bets on my short list for College Football this week. Let’s assume upon second glance I work that down to about 12 bets.

Winning 7 of those bets would be sharp(ish). 8 wins and beyond is mega sharp territory. Anything 5 wins or less is unacceptable.

I like where we stand heading into CFB this weekend.

I’m going to keep polishing the list of 15 matchups and narrow it a bit and then will begin sharing them tomorrow.

Obviously, our premium subscribers will get all the bets.
